Totally nuts (aka I love Sweet and Sara)
Dear Gluten-free vegans of the world,
Please help me in convincing Sweet and Sara (aka makers of the most drool-worthy smores that look like the moon pies of my childhood) that there IS a market for a gluten-free version of their product. I asked on twitter (@SWEETandSARA, they are great at responding to @ comments) and was told that the people who inquired about a GF version said that if the entire factory wasn’t GF, they wouldn’t buy them. Now it’s totally true that some people really are that sensitive. However, I don’t think that’s the majority. Also, there are literally thousands of items on the market that are made in non-GF facilities that are certified GF. There are many things like cleaning options, production order, etc., that can be done to severely limit the chance of contamination. Help me convince them!
